Cool, can you give me an example sketch and your settings in openhab to talk to the broker? This would be very nice!

You can do exactly what you want and more with Souliss Library, is refered at ESP Arduino github and we've support for OH and a Native Android App, Souliss it's a framework for home automation

I do not use sketches, I just wrote the app in C using tuan's mqtt library. Tried to use LUA, but gave up.
I do not have sources with me, will try to remember to publish during this weekend.

He, I found Souliss bevor. But one important question: can I control Pixels of WS2812 with it? Or make animations? When this is possible, I would take Souliss
