Another down side, it is not handling binary file easily, as it is mentioned that the EndOfFile signal in this case must be provided by an additional GPIO. Also, it is not compatible with the Arduino "USB Host Library 2.0".
I would prefer the board http://www.lipoly.de/index.php?main_pag ... _id=209709, but here too, the price is not attractive.

In general, the concept still the same...

You are right. The price is a bit high. But for that you get a complete working system without having to write any advanced software and stress yourself.
