This project describes in detail how to attach one or more leds and relays to an ESP8266 (NodeMCU version) and control these leds with an Android App.
The story is a tutorial on how to do the hardware, write the C (Arduino) software for the ESP and last but not least write your own App with MIT's App-Inventor.
