I was thinking of using the ESP8266 to make a DustDuino:

Replacing the wireless shield and WiFly module. Is this feasible? Also, does anyone know why the DustDuino needs both a wireless shield and WiFly. I thought you can just use the wireless shield on it's own to connect to a server?
