I have tried all the combinations I know of with two of these boards. Is the 03 different, or will wiring like this power it:

I am not getting any lights, nothing in serial monitor. I have two of these ESP8266-03's from DYImall (amazon). I wish I had tried basic functionality before I soldered pins to the board...

- Mon Apr 20, 2015 1:08 pm #15140 You are correct, no led's. It turned out I had improperly connected CH_PD. The board is communicating now. Thank you.
