That does look good, i ordered one to give it a try too.
The XC6206P332MR is just a linear LDO regulator, or am I missing something? If you want a switching regulator try the LM3671. I'm using it with a 4.7uF and a 22uF capacitor and the recommended 2.2uH inductor. It's working great so far, stays cool, and can provide up to 600mA.
