#41181 The 16 mbit chips have arrived and I can confirm they work. They are the ideal uprade for e.g. the ESP01, the chips fit exactly on the pads, give a fourfold of storage and allow for two banks of 1 Mbyte, ideal for OTA flashing.

Same for me, got some 32mbit winbonds and all is working out of the box even with QIO and 80MHz flash slected... :)
