I received 2 esp8266-03 about a year ago one was perfectly fine,
the other one is broken
, i think it is related to a part on the pcb, because the big white part with "Rainsun" printed on was broken, so i wanted to ask if someone knows what this part is and whether i can repair it somehow.

- Wed Mar 09, 2016 3:37 pm #42776 This a ceramic antenna. ESP-03 has also a UFL connector for external antenna.

- Fri Mar 11, 2016 2:13 pm #42916 So it seems kind of weird that the board does not respond via serial connection I guess I will test it again and maybe solder an antenna to it
