I recently developed a product based on ESP8266-12 and although I used certain tricks to be able to use all the available and restricted GPIOs, there is still one Output missing for the new release for which the client is requesting a new feature.
I noticed that the ESP8266-14 variant has at least one additional I/O, and from what I observed, it seems to be software compatible with the previous module ( wifi onboard, A/D, etc ...). Is there any other point that I'm overlooking at this research?
