#37098 Since you are satisfied Rx,Tx is correct , You can try to reflash , I have not bricked any yet, but have had several
times that I thought I bricked it, usually loading different FW or doing a power clear, clears the issue....

#37099 I would like to flash/re-flash but because I am still new to esp8266 any links to procedures
related to win7 64bit os using putty? would be helpful.
So many options out there I would like suggestions for at least one simple procedure.
From there I will build my skills.
I do have a learning disability that makes reading manuals, etc hard for me to understand.
I learn from doing something simple, understanding it inside/outside then slowly expanding my knowledge.
Thanks for any help.

#37101 Do not use Putty ! In some versions of firmware, Putty does not work.
Use another Terminal program, like Termite

Termite version 3.2 - complete setup
