- Sat Mar 26, 2016 11:25 am #44087 Simply put a PullUp on RES pin if your module is a plain ESP (Wemos already has that pullup) and place a switch to GND.
Also, if you are using deepSleep(), your need to have GPIO16 attached to RES thru a 1K resistor like mentioned above.

my WeMos mini D1 is coming back from deep sleep if it is connected to PC-USB-Hub, but it does not come back if it is connected to external USB power supply.

Is that related to the resistor ??

- Sat May 14, 2016 7:16 am #47434 @Gawan I have found that the required resistor depends on various factors like if it is running on batteries, from USB etc.

Try different sized resistors.
