Yes ask the search I have seen pictures on the search however none of them doing what I would like to do most were for esp07 that I have seen none for the esp12E ....
I always wondered why it says esp8266mod on all of the boards I order I wonder what is modded.
Anyhow I have tried the search function and tried what was recommended for the other chips without luck I have never seen no one use a nodemcu board and mod it in this manner.
This is why I ask I believe what matters in this case is how the lines go out to the pins as well and how they are connected one would think you could externally influence the pins in the same way but I guess you have to lift the pins for whatever reason.
What is odd to me is why can I use my board in either mode DIO or QIO mode it is universal?
