#67903 Hi there!
I have a problem with my ESP-12 board. I can't get the solder to stick on the GPIO2 port because the metal thing that were on the port has fallen of. Are there any fix to this? I known the GPIO2 port is connected to the LED, so maybe there is a chance I can remove the LED and use its port as GPIO2.

#67923 A picture would be nice, because there are different ESP-12 Boards available (ESP-12E/F/S/Q ...).
But yes, best thing to do is to scrape off the protective coating of the trace that was connected to the GPIO2 pad and/or the LED and solder to the trace/LED directly.
Don't use too much heat and keep the soldering time as short as possible, to avoid additional damage.
