- Thu Apr 23, 2015 4:56 pm #15430 Everything I have read has been about the serial-to-wifi capability of this board, but I want to replace my existing Bluetooth serial link with something more robust.

Is it possible to connect to the ESP as a pseudo serial port, using putty or similar, and have it connected to a serial device at the other end?

In effect, an extended terminal session.

this is a branch of some original work, but has the added feature of using gpio2 as a reset pin!

it works.. not put it to use, only found it today!
