ESP8266 Community Forum

- Fri Sep 18, 2015 11:46 am #29371 Hy, I used my new ESP8266 esp01 (from Bangood) to drive a lamp remotely. For this I'm using the project by Marco Schwartz in openhomeautomation.net. It works fine but just for a less than 5 mins. After that esp seems lost the comunication with my router. The only way to connect again it is power off and power on again.
In the web I've read a lot about esp stability but still it is not clear for me.
I need some clarification on this strange behaviour. It depends on firmware, on hardware.....
May someone give me some suggestion ?

- Fri Sep 18, 2015 11:51 am #29373 Most of the ESP instabilities are coming from either improper power supply or from floating pins which should normally be pulled-up or pulled-down.
