#40064 Hello to all,
I have got a few ESP-12E units from banggod. They seem to function fine, but I have a problem trying to upload firmware.
I'm using LF33CV or LM1086 as voltage regulators with 5V 1A power adapter from mobile phone or 4 AA batteries. And I'm using PL2303 programmer from Prolific to program them.
The modules are working fine with this setup, but when I try to program them with Arduino IDE, it throws an error message. Strange thing is that I can program them if I disconnect a wire from the voltage regulator and connect a meter set to measure Amps in between. When I do that, the program uplaods successfully. I have no idea why that happens. Maybe someone can help me figure that out?
I have tried to use different capacitors between Vcc and Gnd of the power regulator, but it doesn't make any difference. I have connected all pins corectly (15>Gnd, 2 > Vcc, 0>Gnd, CH_EN>Vcc). I'm adding a photo of my setup.
