Update Firmware Node MCU DevKit from extrenal memory

I want to store a bin file in exrtenal memmory in case if the main programm destroyed.Like a hard reset in all devices.. When I press the button I want to flash the main memmory of the node with the bin from extrenal memmory..Any idea for this?
