I purchased 2 of these hitletgo Node MCU esp8266 back in February by Amica (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010O ... UTF8&psc=1)
And to upload code I have to pull low pin D8, and leave it low for the code to run. I am comfortable in C so wont be using LUA but like these because they are breadboard friendly with built in power. I am using the Arduino IDE and or visual micro in visual studio 15. My question is why do I have to ground out the pin? I thought that was handled by the board. Are there any other tips or work arounds I need for this board? It took a lot of hours to figure this one out.
