No serial connection

- Tue Sep 05, 2017 9:53 am #69759 OK, I'm stumped. My 8266 board has a USB port, a Rst button and a Flash button. The wifi module number ends in "12n". Every wiring drawing on the net shows something different. I have the 8266 connected to my RasPi via a usb cable. On my RasPi I've loaded Ardunio IDE. Dmesg shows ttyS0 & ttyAMA0. Running "screen" on either one doesn't do a thing. Oh also I loaded esp-open-sdk.
Help please.
