ESP8266s destroy connection of windows pc to internet

- Mon Sep 25, 2017 10:03 am #70292 Hi, I operate some Windows PC and some esp8266 .
When I start the Windows PCs and the esp8266 are oflline ( no power ) all the PCs connect to the WLAN and have Connection to the Internet.
If the esp8266 are on power and in the wlan, the Windows PCs connect to the WLAN but have no Connection to the Internet ! Any ideas ?

- Mon Sep 25, 2017 10:28 am #70296 If your ESPs are acting as AP and PCs are connection as station to the ESP, the PCs getting their IP as well as default gateway from DHCP, overriding the real wired network gateway.
The easiest way to avoid that is to make sure those 2 networks are not clashing each other by using different IP subnet and using static IP on the ESP network PCs connections instead of DHCP.
