#77485 Hello,

I have an “old alarm system” (about 15 years old), which has wireless motion sensors and wireless siren… (http://www.antifurtologisty.it/S310-22I.htm 1 - I cannot find an english version of it)…

The brand has now been bought by Hager (https://www.hager.com/) and it has since dismissed…

Nothing wrong with the system, it has a cantral with incorporated siren, keypad, and Phone line connectors (I can manage the system via phone too - wired to the home phone line)… all the sensor (including an external siren) are wireless (not sure which standard though)

I was wondering if it is possible to retrofit the system and make it “smart/connected” so I can see status/manage the system itself with my mobile (using for example OpenHab SW)...

For this reason I am investigating the opportunity to connect the Alarm System to a NodeMCU (ESP8266) so I can connect tho the "smart home hub"...

I am absolutely new to openHAB, Arduino, NodeMCU, ESP8266, therefore I apologies in advance if I write something very silly....

Just to start, I have a wiring diagram of the existing electrical terminals on the alarm system:

The only example that make sense to me is EXAMPLE # 3, in order to “read” the system and detect if ti is ON or OFF… in this case I would connect somehow Output Reley 2 to the NodeMCU and the system woudl know the status of the alarm…

Anyone can help me understand what are the EXAMPLE #1 and #2 for?

I have just bought the followingImage Image

As Newbie I am asking:
1) is there a way to "analyse" how I can "use" the I/O of the alarm system
2) how should I connect NodeMCU to the Alarm System?
3) which functionalities I should try to "expand" via nodeMCU?

Many thanks all!
