I recently bought two nodemcu v3 boards one of which i fired immediately on getting home. The other one had been working fine for quite a few days but yesterday i just mysteriously stopped while I had connected it with USB as i was programming it. Some one told me it may be because f firmware issues so try reinstalling it. I tried to re-flash the chip but all in vain. It give me error of time out every time. i have tried using both esptool and cmd(python) but both give same error of time out. One last thing it does show the port to which it is connected in port option
