Hi all! Im new here, recently bought a nodemcu v3 and im trying to learn about all this! hehe. Got a problem and im trying to figure it why is happening what is happening. I got the following connections. VU (5v) to VCC (on relay), D7 to IN and GND to GND. When i switch the board both leds on relay powers on (red and green). Great! Its working! But now is the problem, if i get my D7 output to HIGH nothing happens (shouldnt it turn off the green light?). Okey maybe it works the other way. I turn off the output on D7, and nothing happens. The green led continues on!!
So oh, i have read that i cant switch the relay with the 3,3v that GPIO gives. Mmm but if i RESET the board the green led powers off (if D7 - IN is connected). And if the board is on, if i disconnect the D7 - IN cable the green led in the relay turns off.
What is happening?? Im new to all this, but... is this strange?
