ESP8266 Community Forum

I recently connected my NodeMCU ESP8266 to my SmartThings hub and created the device in the iOS app. The temperature is reporting -196.6 degrees, and I'm not frozen solid LOL so something's off... does anyone know how I can adjust the sketch with the IDE so it's reading accurately?

- Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:15 am #80410 As we all exactly know which board and sensor you use and clearly can see the sketch you loaded, we offcourse know where your problem is located: 80cm infront of your screen.

- Mon Feb 04, 2019 7:49 am #80417 I have three Nodemcu's running at the moment and have never had the problem you have. I have used a DT22, BMP280 and a SHT15 sensor without problems.

So it is a ds18b20, but as they say there, you need to post the sketch / software you are running to get any meaningful help.

In your other post you have the sensor connected to NodeMCU D4. Are you sure you are using the pin that your software is expecting?
