I have an ESP-01s (the black PCB version) and I try to use it to control a led strip.
It looks that I am not able to make it work with a simple script like "blink".
I can upload with no problem my sketch but the ESP seems not booting at all.

I am on OSX Sierra.

Fir the upload I am using an USB adaptator like this one :

Can someone help me to understand what I all doing wrong ?

- Sat Jul 06, 2019 4:26 am #83011 You didn't say how you are powering the ESP01S. That may be your issue. You need to have a good 3.3 volt power supply. I suggest something that is rated for 400 mA minimum.

it is powered by the USB adaptator. I also tried another 3,3v power source (which powering another ESP and a led strip) and same problem, the esp does not seem to come to live.
