ESP8266 Community Forum

I bought a couple of these esp 8266's thinking i'd just "figure it out" but I have zero programming experience and I'm slightly over my depth.. any help will be appreciated..

I've installed the stuff on this page https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino

I just don't know what to do with the sketches in Arduino..... anyways, just any tips will help.

What have you done so far? Have you got the Arduino environment running on your PC? Have you got the USB adaptor for comms between the PC and the ESP?

Yes, I've installed Arduino, I have connected the esp, i just don't know what to put in as a sketch..
