Hello, this is a true newbie question: is the firmware on the ESP-01 equal (or equivalent) to that on ESP-WROOM-02?
This is the background:
We need to implement secure access to an MQTT broker, via TLS1.2. I know the ESP-WROOM-02 has TLS1.2 implemented (fully functioning, right?). But we intend to use the ESP01 as it is half the price and less items on the BOM.
Information on the ESP8266 is scattered all over, and often imprecise, hence my question.
