#73471 ... so lets "fix" it. I spent days learning the Arduino IDE. Finding out how to load 8266 libs, where everything was stored, what port etc - did an upgrade and Wow I've got 2:1.0.5 and now it's BROKE! 8266 lib, nope. Preferences, changed. And the web - all sorts of old version how-to's. My code? oh it's in the wrong subdir.

Old: Prefs, add lib http..8266
Old: Manage Lib: include 8266

New: ????????? add http:...8266 line to pref.txt file -
New: Sketch, import lib 8266, OK. Manage lib? include? use?

Help pls

#73490 OK, so there's what happened
A. I was running Ard.ide 1.8.4
B. On my RasPi I ran update, upgrade
C. When I fired up IDE it said - you're running 2:1.0.5
D. Oh, I've gone from [0,1]:1.8.4 to 2:1.0.5 an upgrade
E. After much $@$!@#!$%% I've come to find out the "2:" means squat.
F. Did some debugging, removed /usr/bin/arduino and I'm back running 1.8.5 (I loaded the xz file)
