- Thu Aug 27, 2015 10:29 am #27172 I have a NodeMCU dev kit that I've been using. Yesterday I setup the development environment on another computer, plugged in the NodeMCU and hit upload. The blue LED on the module blinked once, and then after a delay I got this message:

warning: espcomm_sync failed
error: espcomm_open failed

Does anyone have any ideas why I can program it just fine from one computer, but from another computer I get the messages above?

Is this about NodeMCU 0.9 (yellow one) or NodeMCU 1.0 (black one)?
