In a previous forum post I mentioned that I created a non-interactive "page()" function, which is very useful for sending Esp8266 program controlled SMS messages. This non-interactive "page()" function does NOT require the Esp8266 to be a web server.
But, when the Esp8266 is a Web Server, some simple HTML can be inserted to provide an interactive SMS interface. Because it is implemented as an HTML "form" it is interactive, and requires web user intervention.
