That's great that you're happy with the status quo. Hobbyists who would like a timeline for updates are not attacking devs, as you seem to imply. I don't think there's anything wrong in getting information about the next release of software, free or paid. The question is really for them, not for others who are happy with the current ver.

If there is a new version of sdk, you are also free to integrate it into your local copy.
But beware: new version sometimes bring new problems ...

in general: Hobbyists talking about timeline, pressing for releases etc. not knowing what the new release might bring (in contrast to e.g. new android images), definitely have a problem.
If there is a certain problem that keeps you from finalizing your project, lets talk about and find a solution.
But just ranting about date for a new version w/o any need, as hobbyist, is not argueable and arouses the suspicion of hidden comercialism.

I'm already doing that. The reason I'm asking is so that the code we write can be used by others, who will not be bothered by using a RC version. Till then I'm forced to stick with the current stable release.
