- Mon Apr 06, 2015 3:07 pm #13667 I am the admin here (and owner of ESP8266.com) and also the person that started the ball rolling for the Arduino IDE, I knew it had to be done, and done right, I then enlisted the help of IGRR and between the 2 of use we have been hacking away at getting it setup correctly. Hence the reason its released here also at ESP8266.com as its my puppy :-) IGRR had already been playing with the concept of the IDE and between the 2 of use formulated the direction it was going to go in....

Your praise is enough for us, we are very happy to be making this all happen for the community!

PS. When the site was fresh and new I was also the first to make sure the GCC compiler had good legs to stand on here and promoted its creation... this was step 1 in my evil Arduino plans :-)
