Can flash but can't run blink. Tried a power adapter. Ideas?

- Thu Feb 18, 2016 10:52 am #41379 NodeMCU 0.9 and 1.0 are defined separately in boards.txt and I see differences related to OTA. This may or may not be applicable to you depending on core and IDE version you use. If you use correct version and have an issue you also have one item less to check when troubleshooting.

It is good that you apply the pin mapping. This is another little thing that reduces headache when troubleshooting what is the correct pin number. Maybe except BUILTIN_LED :D
