Hi,
i am totally new on the ESP8266, i am still waiting for the module to arrive.
I have a couple questions regarding the SPI. First of all the module that i ordered is the ESP-12E that has the pins routed to pads so that i can work with it.
My main concern is that i want to use the SPI with an SD card and also with a MCP2515.
I know that the ESP8266 has 2 SPI modules and one is wired to the internal flash chip. So i can only use the other one.
Can i use it the same way that i would do it with an arduino just by using the same SPI pins except for different CS pin for the SD and MCP2515?
The ESP-12E will run in soft-AP mode.
What IDE do you suggest me to start working with? Arduino IDE or the PlatformIO?
I am thinking to use the RTOS sdk but i am still trying to gather enough information in order to start working on that project!
