- Tue Nov 24, 2015 11:12 am #34890 Its same as internal pullup but internal pullup has more resistance than that of 4.7K. 4.7K is sufficient enough towakeup esp from deep sleep, but, just try 10K external pullup and see you can still wakeup esp and use the pin.

I'm using 10k pullups and waking up from deep sleep works just fine.

Reading DHT11 or DS18B20, worked on either of GPIO2/GPIO4/GPIO5, RESET pin is connected with GPIO16 with 220ohm.
Several boards, currently on 6th day, still going strong on 3.3V LiFePO4 ..

Anyway, after some 20 deep sleep cycles (set at 10s for test) it hangs like before, with the red led slightly dim.
