I recently purchased the Amica v2, which is the same as the NodeMCU v1.0 devkit. In the IDE, I have selected the device "NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)" and the port "/dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART" so the device is recognized by my macbook and the Arduino IDE but for some reason I can't upload anything to the board, it just gives me this error:

error: espcomm_open failed
error: espcomm_upload_mem failed"
Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
