I want to make bridge between uart and wifi and send packets. UDP can be but TCP will be better. I tried with some lua scripts but i could do only few Kb/s.

Which SDK should I use? The new arduino IDE? Thanks!

I write to ask about the maximum speed of transmission and reception reaching the ESP8266 in stream mode.
I need to transmit at a speed of 1Mbps but in several forums I've found that the ESP8266 not reach that number.
It is possible to configure it so that you reach that speed?
