ESP8266 Community Forum

I have a new ESP8266 module (the 07 version) and I am using exactly the same programming circuit like I was using before. I can program the ESP correctly (and it seems to work properly as well) but the transmit and receive LEDs on the USB to Serial adapter continuously flashing! Not with fully brightness like when I am programming the module but they are flashing!

What I am doing wrong? Is it a software problem or a hardware one?

If I place the old ESP module on the exact same circuit, with the exact same USB to Serial adapter the problem disappears!

The ESP seems to work properly but LEDs are continuously flashing lightly
