AP issues <SOLVED>

- Mon Nov 23, 2015 1:14 am #34746 AP not showing up after flashing latest firmware via nodemcu could be my stupidity again but ... Tried to load the latest firmware directly and I cannot see AP...

Tried to flash nodemcu firmware to it first overwriting all of the info and then reflash with basic no go...

I wonder what is causing the intermittent issue with AP there is something that is not fully correct with AP in basic I have an odd hunch would be cool if there were something that would edit the bin file with AP info maybe IDK if this would solve it beats me but I'll keep messing about...

I do notice when I use the reset button there is now a long flash after the initial reset flash don't recall this happening before but either way just something I noticed.

- Mon Nov 23, 2015 1:47 am #34749 fixed it updated via the espdownload tool instead worked like a champ oddly it retained my old AP info dunno how thats possible but it did... http://www.electrodragon.com/w/ESP8266_ ... asher_Tool with the latest github release. https://github.com/esp8266/Basic using the 1MB bin file that comes with the basic flasher tool ...

Odd dunno if it was something to do with the flasher tool or possibly something to do with the release from the website esp8266basic.com release not being up to date after the AP issues recently either way it is working for me and this is how I got it working.
