#41561 SOLUTION:

My router was holding a long term lease for the Mac ID or IP connected to the router so the problem it seems was resolved by leaving my router off for a long enough period of time and restarting the device thus when it tried to obtain an IP with a lack of information or the new information which is blank it would not allow it to.

If anyone has this problem:

Change your Station Connection Information to Blank.
Remove the power from the wifi unit that your ESP is connected to.
Reset your ESP and wait for the new information to show.

@mmiscool

Maybe blank information should not be blank maybe you should make it the words "blankssid" for the ssid and "blankpass" if no information is entered. I mean this way attacks could only be carried out locally by a pirate router with this information and to prevent this you could just generate random hashes for ssid and password in the event that it is a concern this could be generated after the boot process if the condition exists where the information is blank.
for the password by default rather than "" and "" for station mode this would stop these things from happening I would assume!

@ everyone it may be good to use wrong information for your ssid and password and then reset your device instead of restarting your router I have not tested this but I can only assume that this will work in the same way. The no information basically seems to maintain the connection in some instances.

I am really curious to hear your thoughts on these proposed solutions even if you do not agree with them anything is better than no response it at least lets me know that you have read this
