Bottom line is Demo's while people I'm sure have reasons for not giving Demo's Time Constraints, Camera Shyness, Feelings of the Demo not being worthwhile... We need them no matter how small and how large, your demo could be the door opener for the next best thing. It could be your different use of code that causes the demo to go live and be worthwhile... However it is done whatever the reason this is what will spur the development of great open source efforts a video is really great at capturing the attention of people who are hard pressed for time. We are not looking for million dollar productions or even to see your face within a given video essentially a phone with broken English as the narrative is perfectly fine by me. This is about creation not an Ebert movie rating it is not about how elegant the wrapper looks its what is in the wrapper or what is under the hood that is the wealth and what a better time to share and give back to the community than the season based off of it.
I agree if you have it in you share whatever demos you have even if they have been done before it would be nice to see how each individual accomplishes things both at the functionality level and at the level of code with the interpreter. I myself have a slight lack of skills and would greatly benefit from anything shared even just small minute ways of going about accomplishing a task I have a fair comprehension level at best but something about visualization increases my level of comprehension by a large percentage. I am sure I am not the only one in the community in line with this... The old saying a picture being worth a thousand words comes to mind.
Good work on the part of all here contributing, reading, donating and making things possible I agree with the OP or MMISCOOL here... Everyone knows that it is the group effort that really sets things going down the right path so I too would like to extend that great thanks to everyone's effort. I will continue to work at and help where I can as time provides.
This is a great project and I expect not much other than growth in the near future for it on all avenues and there is plenty of evidence to support this but by all means help it grow share your project here and share it abroad elsewhere after all the larger the community getting involved in such an effort the more broad the effort can become. And thanks to the few that have shared the effort, thanks to the new folks that have been coming online. The clock demo was a great thing a new fresh idea and way to do things that I have wouldn't have thought of. And many others as well.
