Quick rant -
I typed up a huge post last night, detailing my struggles and solutions in getting up and running with the ESP8266, hoping the keywords there would lend googlers some insight going through the same hurdles, to help those that are willing to DIY. Post disappeared as though it never existed. I spent close to 45 minutes composing it and collecting links.
On to my question:
Is server mode + station mode usable? I get no response on the terminal from a GET request. only in AP + Server mode. Running V0.20_14_11_28. Possibly just need different firmware?
Also-
when flashing new firmware that has multiple bin files, how does one determine what address to send a particular file to?
