Hi. Just last week got my hands on a esp-03 and I wanted to play with it.
I have set it up like this with my "ftdi friend"
vcc - External 3,3v supply
GPIO 15 - GND
GPIO 2 - VCC
GPIO 0 - GND
CHPD VCC with 2,2k resistor
RX/TX to serial adapter
GND - GND
GND from adapter to GND
At first i tried 9600 and 115200 with arduino serial monitor but just rubbish. I then set up putty with 74880 and got
The chip boots in 74880 but then dont swap over to 9600/115200 as its soposed to do. Its stuck in boot mode and that means I cant update it with esp flasher, it wont awnser to any AT comands and so on.
Any help or advice? What am I doing wrong?
