#44152 Hello everyone,

I'm working on a low power project with an ESP8266-01, and I need to keep the radio off , and then when a specific event happens I turn it on to send a message to a server and then turn the radio off again. I was looking some solutions using CH_PD as a way for turning off the radio, and actually I'm not really sure if it worked , as the RED PWR LED is still on and it is not even dim, so maybe it didn't work at all.

Right now I don't have a multi meter to check the current consumption , but I was wondering if the CH_PD in low level would turn off the radio completely .

Does anybody know if put the CH_PD off will turn off the ESP8266-01 off completely , including the PWR LED? And if there is a better way for turning the radio off , I accept any advice :D

Anyway, thank you.

Thank you very much.

PWR LED is connected directly to power, so you need to unsolder it of break it.

Okay, get it. Thank you very much. :D
