To increase the wi-fi range of ESP8266, I am planning to use external rubber duck antenna. I googled for "external antenna for ESP-07 or Wemos D1 Mini Pro". In the result products I noted that in the specifications, frequency mentioned is 900/1800. But the ESP wi-fi operates on 2400 Mhz. So my question is whether I can use the 900/1800 antenna for ESP?
In the product description (900/1800) it is mentioned that they are suitable to use with ESP8266. Whereas 2400Mhz antennae are also available, in the description it is mentioned that they are suitable for wi-fi applications. So which frequency antenna is recommended to use? I am stuck in deciding, please help!
