I've had good luck with D-SUN Aliexpress [prolific driver occassionaly hangs]
I had 10 FT232RL only 2 would download FW. Have had no such issues with the D-SUN
I suspect I'v done over 3000 FW flashes.

Like Mr Xtal, I can't count how many issue free flashes I have performed.

I wasted more than two weeks trying to find a .bin file I could flash to my ESP-01 and ESP-05, but problem were not .bin files but my TTL/USB adapter. I got some days ago this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/171127768483?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT and works fine (this version has a driver problem problem working with Win8, but nothing impossible to solve).
