#3677 yes arduino continues were it was before sleep. esp sdk doesnt. but its not necessary for many project. its starting and sending data every 2 minutes and deepsleep. 5 month not bad for me.

gerardwr wrote:Around 200mA is a lot. If there is no possibility to set the ESP in sleep, you can forget about battery powered devices. Currently nodeMCU only can be put into deepsleep, and then do a full reset.

Im my Arduin devices I can put it to sleep and at wakeup (by timer or pin-change) it continues were it was before sleep.

That would be a worth file feature for nodeMCU too.

#3683 That looks like Turkish language, right?

BTW : I forgot to mention that I power my ESP now with 2 rechargable AA's in series, so that's 2*1.2=2.4 Volt. No booster just the AA's.

Yep, I measured it for you : It's 2.59 Volts directly from the AA's to the ESP, no power booster, no capacitor. Max power consumption I have seen is around 170 mA.
