i have a nodemcu and uploaded a sketch from arduino IDE. It works fine, however I want to be able to insert 5v regulated power using the gnd and 5v pins. I think it worked on previous trials, however when I try it now the onboard led flashes once quickly and then nothing. Can someone confirm for me that the nodemcu can be powered this way. I am now only able to get the nodemcu to power up using the mini usb input.
