I'm a user (vs. developer) in my 70's and have multi-thought threading problems in my head. Please be understanding.

I changed OS Catalina's Python default to Python 3.8.
And I upgraded the board to version 2.6.2.
So now the 'ESP8266 Sketch Data Upload' works.
