...and just move the 2 RX,TX pins from the uno to the nano.

Any ideas?

1) Did you connect Nano GND to ESP GND?
2) Is softwareserial reliable at so high baud rate?

2) what you are asking is interesting - i didn't know that baud speed is related to the library, and i have seen that reading from the serial is sometimes not accurate which makes me resend the data again. anyway, the behavior between the nano and the uno is different in my case, it IS working with the uno (although i need to make some sort of error correction) and it completely doesn't respond with the nano with the exact same configuration.
